The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, held from 9–14 September along the French Riviera, delivered one of its most energetic editions yet. With bold premieres, day-into-night excitement and a buzzing crowd, Cannes once again proved it is the pulse of yachting passion.

This year, the festival drew over 56,000 visitors and filled docks from Vieux Port to Port Canto. More than 700 boats lined up, and over 140 world premieres made their debut. Wellcraft presented its upcoming 28-foot model. Although the boat will make its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf in 2026, the reveal in Cannes offered visitors an early and exciting first look. Moreover, with three planned versions—Speedster, T-Top, and Explorer—the 28 immediately stirred curiosity and sparked conversations about Wellcraft’s expansion into the versatile day-boating segment.

However, Wellcraft’s presence wasn’t only about new models. It was also a reminder of the brand’s recent achievements. At Cannes, the company subtly celebrated the European Powerboat of the Year 2025 award won by the 38 T-Top (in the up to 14 m class). Therefore, this recognition became a strong badge of credibility, especially among European audiences.
